American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU Float RN with Epic EMR experience for a day shift position in the Los Angeles area.
Details- Float Pool position within the ICU
- Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
- 36-48 hours per week
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active CA RN license required
- BLS certification from American Heart Association required
- ACLS certification from American Heart Association required
- PALS certification from American Heart Association required
- Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
- Recent experience within the last 3 months in the ICU specialty required
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses and care needs
- Develop and implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote a safe healing environment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe and compassionate care
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Located within the Adventist Health network in the Glendale, CA area
- Magnet-designated facility recognized for nursing excellence
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will not be considered
- Local candidates accepted with rates equal to travel rates
