American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic experience.
Requirements- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI/TEAM/TEAM-A
- Minimum three years of recent ER experience required, within the last three months
- BSN and acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- Day shift schedule, 36-48 hours per week, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM
- Epic EMR experience required
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
- Supervise and direct nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing care
- Participate in discharge planning and patient/family education
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel positions
- Traveler may only be submitted to one hospital within the health system at a time
