Position OverviewPostdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate in the NIH‑funded Center for Craniofacial Molecular Biology at the University of Southern California. The scholar will serve as key personnel on Dr. Jianfu Chen's research projects, participating in all laboratory activities and contributing to planning, designing, and conducting highly technical research projects. The scholar will analyze research data, provide interpretations, contribute to development of research documentation for publication, and prepare technical reports, papers, and records.
PreferredField of Expertise
- Publication in peer‑reviewed journals in the same or related field.
- A copy of the doctoral diploma or other certification indicating satisfactory completion of the terminal degree; if not yet obtained, evidence of approved thesis and documented expected graduation date.
- The education documentation must be filed with the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs.
The annual base salary for this position is $68,640.00. Compensation is determined by scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, key skills, internal equity, and funding, among other factors.

Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate within the previous five years. - Minimum Experience:

Directly related education in research specialization with advanced knowledge of equipment, procedures, and analysis methods.
