E. Mann School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Titus Family Department of Clinical Pharmacy, is seeking a Postdoctoral Scholar – Research Associate to join our ongoing studies on cancer genomics and therapeutic development. Recent Ph.D. graduates with a successful publication record in scholarly journals are encouraged to apply.
Our translational genomics and experimental therapeutics lab focuses on identifying and investigating novel therapeutic targets in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and developing new therapeutic strategies.
Responsibilities- Processing and analysis of clinical samples.
- Conducting cellular, molecular, and in‑vivo experiments for hypothesis‑driven research.
- Performing computational and bioinformatic analyses.
- Preparing presentations and publishing scientific manuscripts under the direction of the Principal Investigator.
- Ph.D. required; recent graduate status preferred.
- Proficiency with routine molecular biology techniques for genomics/epigenomic studies and functional studies in cellular and mouse models.
- Hands‑on experience with high‑throughput assays and next‑generation sequencing–based platforms.
- Experience in preclinical studies using leukemia mouse models is required.
- Strong background in cancer biology, immunology, and computational biology, bioinformatics, or biostatistics.
- Computational skills, including experience with bioinformatic tools and packages.
- Experience with data mining, especially for ’omics’ datasets, or developing pipelines/software for large biological datasets is desired.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills; ability to work independently.
The annual salary for this position is $70,304.
