The RTCC offers a diverse range of convenient dining options, including California Pizza Kitchen, Little Galen, Rosso Oro's, Popovich Cafe, The Habit Burger Grill, Lemonade, Panda Express, Seeds Marketplace, Tutor Hall Cafe, Urbn Mrkt, and Verde. We are proud to provide innovative handcrafted dishes, beach‑inspired local fare, savory home‑style meals and plates from around the world all in one convenient setting.

Our guests can also enjoy grab‑and‑go snacks, pastries, and their favorite coffee beverages at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, the Annenberg Cart, The Cafe, Literatea, Starbucks, Nektar and the Law Cafe. We are seeking a Cashier to join our rapidly growing team.

As a key customer‑facing member of our team, the Cashier will have the opportunity to provide exceptional, and memorable, customer service to our students, faculty, staff, and guests. You will ensure that our guests' needs are met efficiently and accurately, all with a warm, polite demeanor. We want our guests to remember that you provided the best USC experience, so that they are eager to return!

• Provide customer service to faculty, staff, students, and guests. Perform sales transactions utilizing department standards and policies.
• Maintain cleanliness of facilities. Assist in kitchen sanitation program. Comply with standard food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Adhere to department service standards and to all health, safety and University rules and regulations.
• Attend and participate in meetings as required. Report to station, ready to work at the time work assignment is scheduled to begin.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. The University reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma
• Experience:
  
  6 months - 1 year
• Demonstrated customer service experience
• Experience working in a fast‑paced retail or quick service restaurant environment
• Knowledge of food sanitation procedures
• Ability to lift at least 30lbs
• Ability to effectively communicate in English
• Presents oneself professionally, in line with higher education environment

• 1 year of experience in a quick service restaurant
• Experience in a face‑to‑face customer service environment
