Retail Associate/ Customer Service, Cashier
About the Role
As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. While both part‑time and full‑time positions generally focus on being a cashier, you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate.
Key Responsibilities- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, and bagging product.
- Promote loyalty program and answer customer inquiries.
- Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and providing product information.
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
- Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
If this posting is coded as a seasonal role, the position is short‑term, no longer than six months, and you may be eligible to apply for a non‑seasonal role.
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1‑3years of work experience in retail (1+years in a retail setting preferred).
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory‑management software.
- Passion for best‑in‑class customer service and a team‑player mindset.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 50lb. overhead.
- Must be 21years of age or older.
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and stand on feet for 8‑10hours a day.
- Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
- Climb ladders and lift 50lb. overhead and repeatedly.
- May be exposed to varying outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Worker Type:
Regular. Pay Range: $18.55 – $22.26 hourly.
