Cashier, Retail

As a Cashier, you play an essential role in the customer service experience by providing customers with fast and friendly service. You will process transactions, answer questions, and ensure customers leave feeling positive about their visit. In addition to cashier duties, you may also be assigned as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate and will be referred to as Front End Team Member reporting to the store management team.

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, answering inquiries, promoting loyalty programs, and bagging products.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing them about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 1–3 years of work experience, with at least 1 year in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Passion for best‑in‑class customer service and a team‑player mindset.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend, and stand on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
• Ability to safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
• Climb ladders and lift 50lbs overhead repeatedly.
• May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.

Pay Range: $15.90 – $22.26 per hour (may vary based on location, skills, and experience)
