The night crew chief is an essential role responsible for maintaining a well stocked and properly faced-up grocery department, ensuring products are available and safely presented to shoppers, and guaranteeing accurate pricing. The role demands leadership, organization, and a commitment to the company’s safety, friendliness, presentation, and efficiency standards.

• Oversee the nightly stock and display of the grocery department.
• Retrieve and shelve merchandise, ensuring correct placement and presentation.
• Monitor pricing accuracy and product safety, providing customers with reliable information.
• Lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds, climb ladders to reach products, and maintain a clean, organized work environment through sweeping and mopping.
• Respond to safety emergencies and maintain physical readiness in cold and wet conditions.
• Work weekends and nights as required, supporting the store’s operational schedule.

• Supermarket‑specific department experience with thorough knowledge of products, tools, and night‑crew operations.
• Strong supervisory and project‑management skills.
• Competent knowledge of basic supermarket business mathematics.
• Proficient reading and understanding of the English language.
• Physical capability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, sweep, mop, stand for up to four consecutive hours, tolerate dust, and work in cold and wet environments.
• Reliability, strong work ethic, high integrity, and a drug‑free work environment commitment.
• A team player eager to support company values, philosophy, rules, and policies.
