Job Title

Support the Southern California Conference ("SCC") in accomplishing its mission, "to exalt Christ by cultivating healthy churches and schools" and its core values of integrity with transparency, engagement, stewardship, unity in diversity, and relationships & team.

Perform retail, cashier, and inventory functions at the store.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Regular attendance.

Provide customer support on the sales floor, answer questions about specific items and direct customers to specific products within the store.

Answer the phone and answer questions or take customer orders.

Keep the shelves attractively arranged.

Maintain organized, neat and clean work areas and sales counters.

Operate cash register/TAM office & point of sales software.

Replenish showroom display and keep them attractively arranged.

Assist in maintaining inventory.

Open and close store.

Ability to perform shipping and receiving duties and to lift, carry, push, and/or pull items weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Receive new inventory purchases, confirm delivery, enter inventory in TAM and organize overstocks area.

Bag bulk items. Keep bagging room clean.

Perform some custodial duties such as mop, sweep, clean bathrooms and other duties as assigned.

Due to heavy work demands, maintain regular attendance, work Sundays as required and time off may not be granted during special sales events.

Comply with policies and procedures of SCC, including but not limited to those in the Employee Handbook, the Pacific Union's Education Code, and the North American Division Working Policy.

Professional who adheres to established Christian professional and ethical.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Perform each essential function satisfactorily, and
Be a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good standing, and
Documented proof to work legally in the USA, and
Possess a proven track record of effective leadership, judgment, collaboration, a learner and possess character above reproach, and
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of Live Scan fingerprinting and background clearance, and
Meet the requirements listed

Education and/or Experience

Must be people oriented. Prior experience in sales is preferable. Computer and phone skills are necessary. High school graduate or equivalency.

Physical Demands
