Provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities;
Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings, parking areas, athletic fields, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with access control, visitor direction, and coordination with site leadership and/or local responders as needed;
Monitor and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols, and complete required written and/or electronic reports;
Support arrival, dismissal, and special event operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions, and helping manage pedestrian and vehicle flow when assigned
