** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a cultural institution location.

+ Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe conditions.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general information, and support orderly entry and exit during services, events, and/or visiting hours.

+ Document security-related incidents, observations, and/or maintenance concerns, and communicate professionally with site contacts, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
