Position located at the Security Officer School Campus in Glendale, CA. Allied Universal is a leading security and facility services company offering a part‑time Day Shift position for a Security Flex Officer.

Pay rate $18.50 per hour, comprehensive benefits for most full‑time positions include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement, and employee assistance programs.

• Safeguard the safety and security of the facilities.
• Act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions.
• Detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near assigned posts, which may threaten property, clients, guests or employees.
• Work for multiple clients at multiple locations, covering special projects, call‑offs, vacations and open shifts.

• At least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner.
• Valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience and clean driving record (details specified). Must be able to safely operate a vehicle required for the position.
• Complete a background investigation and drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Ability to work any time and day; flexible schedule.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client‑specific sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Work in various environments: cold weather, rain/snow or heat.
• Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, climb stairs, ramps, or ladders during shift.
• Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods.
