The City of Glendale is looking for an energetic and dynamic individual to become our next Wireless Systems Technician. Under supervision, this position will perform technical and complex work in the City's Wireless Communication Bureau.
EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent.
ExperienceOne year of responsible experience in the installation, operation and maintenance of public safety communication systems.
Certifications / LicensesPossession of a valid Federal Communications Commission General Radiotelephone Operator's License (GROL) or equivalent industry certification.
TransportationA valid California Driver’s License.
Highly DesirableCompletion of college-level coursework in electronic and radio theory or equivalent.
