Content Platforms & Operations is responsible for the development and ongoing advancement of the technical and operational functions driving the worldwide distribution and monetization of Disney’s linear networks and theatrical content.

This role works within the Frontend Web and Experience team and is primarily responsible for building tools to empower workflows and reporting on the digital supply chain.
Responsibilities and Duties- Implement business logic of various tool workflows.
- Create and maintain shared JavaScript libraries and UI components.
- Review other JavaScript and Type Script code.
- Act as a tech leader for various projects and initiatives.
- Employ test‑driven development and agile practices.
- Minimum 5 years in web development or software engineering
- Mastery of HTTP server and proxy technologies such as HA Proxy, NGINX, Apache
- Extensive experience with NodeJS and/or Java/Kotlin programming
- Extensive experience with cloud‑native technologies such as AWS EC2, Fargate, Cloud Front
- Experience with frontend web development technologies and principles
- Experience with task automation
- Ability to research, learn, assess, and evangelize new technologies
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Driven and self‑motivated
- Previous work experience in media distribution
- Experience building AI‑driven software
- Experience working with vendor teams to deliver high quality results
- Knowledge of performance testing and application profiling
- Experience with React Native
- BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent
The hiring range for this position in California is $ to $ per year; in Connecticut it is $ to $ per year. The base pay offered will consider internal equity and may vary depending on geography, knowledge, skills, experience, and other factors. A bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
