• Design prototypes and tools supporting Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical fields.
• Hands‑on experience with machine learning methods and techniques.
• Experience building and maintaining production‑grade software.
• Experience leveraging AI‑assisted development tools in a safe, responsible, and effective manner.
• Experience with effective API integration and design.
• Demonstrated ownership and responsibility for the development, implementation, and release of the software lifecycle.
• Experience with defensive application design and understanding of cybersecurity best practices.
• Excellent technical communication skills and attention to detail.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn.
• Experience in native application development, API integration, user experience design, version control, and continuous integration is desired.

• Experience with audio/video processing and analysis.
• Experience with real‑time updates and event‑driven architectures.
• Hands‑on experience with AWS services like Kinesis, DynamoDB, Elasti Cache, Lambda, S3, ECS, Aurora, and Bedrock.
• Experience with modern JavaScript/Type Script development, including production use in back‑end RESTful APIs and front‑end web applications.
• Experience with native mobile application development for iOS (Swift) and/or Android (Kotlin).
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Cloud Watch and Datadog.
• Workflow implementation centered on real‑time updates and event‑driven architectures.

The hiring range for this position in Seattle, WA is $148,700 to $199,400 per year and in Los Angeles, CA and Bristol, CT is $141,900 to $190,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on candidate’s geographical region, job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus and/or long‑term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
