Yoh has an exciting opportunity for a 3D Pipeline Real Time Graphics Developer to join our global entertainment client. This role will support the development of digital content pipelines, real-time visualization tools, and interactive production technologies used to bring complex entertainment environments and immersive experiences to life. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience working in a visual effects, digital art, animation, gaming, or real-time content pipeline environment.
Strong experience with Unreal Engine, Python, Maya or Houdini, and production pipeline development is essential.

Compensation: $67-77/hr, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain digital content pipeline tools supporting 3D visualization, animation, simulation, and real-time production workflows.
- Build tools and integrations for applications such as Unreal Engine, Autodesk Maya, Houdini, Substance 3D, and related content creation platforms.
- Support the creation of real-time digital environments, virtual prototypes, animated mechanical elements, projection systems, and other dynamic entertainment experiences.
- Develop plugins, scripts, APIs, and workflow automation using Python and C++.
- Create and maintain package-management and deployment workflows using Rez or similar tools.
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and support existing software products, internal tools, and proof-of-concept applications.
- Partner closely with artists, designers, animators, engineers, and technical production teams to gather requirements and improve creative workflows.
- Translate creative and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
- Evaluate new APIs, SDKs, software platforms, and emerging technologies for potential use within the production pipeline.
- Participate in code reviews, technical planning, documentation, testing, and ongoing pipeline support.
- Contribute to the development of digital-twin, simulation, and game-engine-based visualization environments.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers when needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics, or a related technical discipline.
- Five or more years of professional experience working in a visual effects, animation, digital art, gaming, virtual production, or real-time content pipeline environment.
- Advanced programming experience with Python.
- Professional development experience with C++.
- Strong Unreal Engine development experience, including game logic, plugins, tools, or engine-level development.
- Experience developing tools or integrations for Autodesk Maya, Houdini, or comparable 3D content creation applications.
- Experience using Rez or a similar software package-management system.
- Working knowledge of 3D mathematics, computer graphics, and real-time rendering concepts.
- Experience with graphics technologies such as OpenGL, DirectX, or similar APIs.
- Experience supporting Windows-based development and production environments.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and creative stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in Glendale, California, four days per week.
- Maya scripting and API development experience using Python, C++, or the Open Maya API.
- Experience with animation systems, character rigging, or procedural content workflows.
- Experience with Houdini pipeline development or procedural tool creation.
- Familiarity with Universal Scene Description, or USD.
- Experience with Shot Grid or another production tracking platform.
- Experience developing user interfaces with PyQt, Qt, WxPython, CSS, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with CAD or building-design applications such as Solid Works, Revit, Rhino, or equivalent tools.
