Job Description:

We're seeking a Terminal Operator who will manage terminal operations, safely operating all equipment to load and unload rail cars, boats, and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.

The Terminal Operator safely operates all equipment at the location used to load and unload rail cars, boats, and trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.

• Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc.
• Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, both bulk and bagged, for rail, waterway, and road methods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location.
• Understand and operate truck loading equipment.
• Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance.
• Sample product from trucks and barges following company policies.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment.
• Perform clerical functions.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma / GED.
• 1-3 years of work experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Basic knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office, and SAP.
• Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance.
• Good understanding of the basics of the cement manufacturing process or logistics.
• Technical skills in welding, machine repair, and basic electricity.
• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators; employees required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face to pass the fit tests.
