Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Join a family-oriented team of employees working hard every day to serve our elders! This position involves answering incoming calls. Must have a pleasant and accommodating disposition, and proper phone etiquette. Previous experience with customer service, computer skills, and organizational skills is required.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Gives directions to Residents, Visitors and etc.
- Handles front desk reception, including, answering the telephone, greeting and assisting visitors, making change, receiving payments, signing for UPS and Fed Ex shipments.
- Assists with Personal Needs petty cash for Residents.
- Assists in sorting/distributing incoming departmental and Resident’s mail and prepare outgoing mail.
- Maintains Personal Needs files, including making all necessary changes (deposits & payments) and filing.
- Operates communication system/paging system.
- Receives accounts receivable monies and prepares receipts as needed. Prepares the daily deposits from all money received, and processes the deposit. May be requested to deliver the deposit to the bank.
- Performs miscellaneous duties: order supplies as necessary, calls for maintenance on office equipment, completes departmental copy work, types correspondence for the Administrator, and any other duty as directed by the Business Office Manager or the Administrator.
- Assist with feeding and caring for the facility fish.
- Attend and participate in required committee meetings
- Answer call lights and meet residents’ needs within scope of practice. Seek assistance if unable to meet residents’ needs.
- Models and promotes person centered care, and actively participates in neighborhood meetings and activities.
