Human Resources Assistant

What You’ll Do

Provides administrative and clerical support across Human Resources functions, including recruitment, hiring, personnel records, benefits, and training. This is an in-person, on-site role that serves as a first point of contact for walk-in visitors and delivers high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities include answering phones, managing files and records, processing mail, preparing materials, coordinating schedules, completing employment verifications, and responding to employee and community inquiries. Assists with onboarding, reference checks, benefits enrollment, applicant communication, and form updates. Maintains confidentiality, builds effective working relationships, and supports special projects and other duties as assigned.

Who We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in Human Resources preferred.
  • Prior clerical or administrative experience in an office setting preferred.
  • Comfortable using technology and independently navigating an HRIS platform to assist and guide others.
  • Interest in growing within the field of Human Resources.
  • Bilingual skills would be beneficial, but are not required.
