Position: Project/Program Manager 2

THE ROLE

The Project/Program Manager plays a critical role in driving operational excellence across the Compute & Enterprise AI (CEAI) business unit. You will report to the Chief of Staff in the Compute & Enterprise AI Business Unit and lead medium-scale programs, manage cross-functional initiatives, and deliver frameworks that improve efficiency, scalability and execution predictability. This role ensures alignment between business strategy and operational delivery and will own driving operational process, leadership forums, action tracking and ensuring the organization operations with clarity, accountability and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate is a highly organized, operationally minded program manager who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. She/he is a strong communicator who is skilled in developing and sustaining positive interpersonal relationships. The individual excels at building clarity, structure and accountability. They must be results driven with the ability to make decisions quickly and influence peers and high-level executives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Operations & Governance Model:

  • Drive operational excellence across the CEAI BU, establishing best practices, standards, and mechanisms that improve predictability and performance
  • Oversee processes that support scalable growth and operational efficiency
  • Develop project plans, roadmaps, and milestones, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities
  • Conduct retrospectives and root-cause analyses to implement ongoing optimizations
  • Lead calendar alignment processes, ensuring all operational cadences are synchronized and dependencies are addressed – publish and maintain the BU calendar
  • Manage cross BU syncs with the COS community, ensuring leaders have clarity on priorities and deliverables and risks
  • Drive IPD (RSG & PSG) alignment, coordinating to ensure the BU is meeting timelines and expectations
  • Oversee Event Attendee management for major internal and industry events
  • Own action tracking and follow up across staff meetings, Ops reviews, AET and offsites to ensure BU commitments are delivered
  • Tracks and oversees adoption of AI to help drive increased usage and generation of new AI tools and processes

Server Leadership Forum

  • Serve as the lead for the Server Leadership Forum Core Team, supporting the agenda creation and content preparation ensuring alignment to annual strategic goals and organizational needs
  • Assist with event logistics and running
  • Complete post forum survey and lessons learned, distribute all materials and complete post-forum follow up communications

COS Assistance

  • Provides Chief of Staff assistance to organizations in CEAI without dedicated COS resources, delivering operational structure, prioritization support and business rhythm management

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in organizational operations, workforce planning & compliance
  • Proactive and execution focused
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A track record of creativity and innovation in solutions
  • Skilled in developing and sustaining positive interpersonal relationships
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Action and results-orientation with the ability to make decisions quickly
  • Demonstrated technical team/project and program leadership success
  • Recent and thorough experience in the hi-tech industry; experience in the PC industry is highly desirable
  • High level of proficiency in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot), and in data manipulation, analysis and presentation
  • Leverages AI technologies to optimize project & program delivery
  • Undergraduate degree required, PMP preferred
