We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 130‑day locum tenens assignment in Colorado, starting Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity features an 8‑hour day shift, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The selected doctor will deliver high‑quality patient care in both hospital and clinic settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Function independently to provide patient‑centric care across various settings, including in‑person and telehealth modalities
  • Gather patient history, perform physical exams, and review prior records and ancillary data using critical problem‑solving skills
  • Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans; communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
  • Offer education and counseling to patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge processes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and leadership to maintain safe, coordinated patient care
  • Assist collaborating physicians with inpatient management according to site policies and scope of practice
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation guidelines
  • May be asked to float to other departments within scope and qualifications or be on‑call during scheduled shifts
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards
Additional Information
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school and residency training in radiation oncology required
  • Active Colorado medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
  • Regular on‑site attendance and ability to work nights and weekends for identified positions
