We are seeking a caring and enthusiastic Lower School Counselor to join our community for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, the counselor will support students’ academic, social, and emotional growth, helping them develop confidence, self-advocacy skills, and responsibility for their learning. Working in close partnership with teachers and school leaders, the counselor will help foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment for all students.

The counselor will also collaborate with families to identify students who may benefit from additional evaluation, support, or resources beyond those provided by Dawson faculty and staff.

A Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or a related field is preferred.

Current State of Colorado licensure in counseling or social work.

At least three years of experience counseling K-5 students, or equivalent.
