Registered Nurse OR Service Line Lead GYN

Presbyterian/St. Luke's Medical Center, a premier healthcare facility located in Denver, Colorado, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to lead our Gynecology (GYN) surgical services. This leadership position is crucial in ensuring the delivery of exceptional care through skill, compassion, and dedication to excellence in the specialized field of Gynecology. As a leader within our dynamic OR team, the successful candidate will coordinate patient care, manage nursing staff, and uphold the highest standards of surgical practices within the GYN service line.

• Coordinate and supervise all nursing care and services during surgical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of nurses and support staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Manage scheduling, patient records, and inventory of surgical supplies and equipment.
• Participate in the development of patient care programs, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct performance evaluations and professional development of team members.

• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• In-depth knowledge of GYN surgical procedures and patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using medical software for patient management
• Ability to handle a high-stress environment
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
• Certification in Gynecological Nursing (CGRN) preferred
• BLS/ACLS certification
