CASHIER/FOOD SERVICE WORKER – Part Time

Location: Yuma School District – 1115 South Ash Street, Yuma, CO 80759. Online applications only.

Requirement: Prior cooking experience preferred.

Pay: $15.16 to $15.85 per hour.

Job Summary: Operates Point of Sale system, assists the chef, prepares coffee, maintains clean cashier and coffee stations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods, desserts, and catering orders.
• Perform cashier duties using the POS system.
• Perform general cleaning duties; remove trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
• Maintain cash accuracy with receipts and make deposits at end of each shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies and food products.
• Set up serving line, ensure temperatures are taken, recorded, within acceptable ranges and notify cooks if not.
• Serve hot and cold items to customers.
• Set up items for purchase daily.
• Keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using first-in, first-out rule.
• Stock pantries with correct par levels daily; record replenished amounts on floor stock form.
• Record refrigerator temperatures daily on floor stock form.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
