Location

Hybrid, Glendale, WI. (2-3 days/week in office)

Role Overview

The Senior Workday Analyst serves as the functional owner and subject matter expert for Workday Talent, leading the design, configuration, support, and continuous improvement of talent management processes and related HR technology solutions. The role manages Workday Talent enhancements, production support, and project delivery while partnering closely with HR leadership, business stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions that support organizational objectives.

The analyst drives process optimization, maintains a strategic roadmap for the talent technology portfolio, ensures successful implementation of new functionality, and promotes operational excellence through effective system governance, testing, training, and user adoption.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Workday Talent process owner, lead the workstream, and manage all enhancements and cases.
  • Provide Workday Talent expertise on configuration for projects and business support.
  • Partner with the Talent leadership team to develop and maintain effective talent processes in Workday.
  • Build a roadmap for the talent space in Workday and support the EVP strategy across HR.
  • Facilitate and manage small to mid‑scale projects.
  • Collaborate with IT to design and develop system interfaces that support interoperability.
  • Perform testing activities—including functional and end‑user testing—to ensure development and configuration meet user requirements, and develop testing criteria and scripts.
  • Maintain expertise on new Workday functionality, industry trends, and technology advances.
  • Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
  • Improve training and operational procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Implement new system changes, conduct user training, and support ongoing system usage.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, computer science, or an equivalent field.
  • 3 years of Workday configuration experience, specifically in Talent.
  • 5 years of HRIS/IT experience, including HR application analysis, support, and data/business process design.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications such as MS Project, Word, Power Point, Excel, and Visio.
  • Strong process‑improvement skills, organizational ability, and effective communication.
  • Solid knowledge of human resources policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Up‑to‑date understanding of HR technology trends and changes.
  • Deep subject‑matter expertise of Workday Talent, including upgrades and new features management.
  • Delivery focus, high energy, and strong problem‑solving skills with agility for fast solutions.
  • Experience providing production support for HR technology solutions and troubleshooting independently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
