Description
Purpose of the JobResponsible for executing workplace safety, environmental, and compliance programs while coordinating facility-related activities and maintaining audit-ready documentation. This role serves as the central intake and coordination point for safety, environmental, and facility issues, ensuring timely resolution, accurate records, regulatory compliance, and consistent program execution across the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities- Execute and coordinate established safety, environmental, and compliance programs, including workplace inspections, hazard identification, incident investigations, corrective actions, and regulatory compliance activities to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
- Deliver safety onboarding, recurring training, toolbox talks, and compliance communications while reinforcing safe work practices, employee accountability, and a culture of safety across the organization.
- Maintain compliance records, dashboards, reporting systems, and tracking tools; monitor regulatory deadlines, inspections, reporting requirements, corrective actions, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure accurate documentation, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections by maintaining organized records, responding to information requests, and assisting with corrective action planning and follow-up.
- Administer standardized processes for incident reporting, inspections, corrective actions, and compliance recordkeeping to ensure consistency, accountability, and timely resolution of issues.
- Serve as the primary coordination point for facility, safety, and environmental issues by managing work orders, coordinating vendors, tracking maintenance activities, resolving requests, and escalating complex issues as needed.
- Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Human Resources, vendors, and leadership to ensure consistent execution of safety, environmental, compliance, and facility-related initiatives.
- Certificate or Associate's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1-5 years of experience in safety coordination, environmental compliance, facilities coordination, or operations support.
- Strong organizational, planning, documentation, and follow-up skills.
- Experience maintaining work orders, compliance records, logs, and tracking systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and workplace safety practices preferred.
- Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining confidential business information.
Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work in office, warehouse, and operational environments, conduct facility and safety inspections, and perform the physical activities required to support safety, environmental, compliance, and facility coordination responsibilities.
