Role Description

The Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Glendale, WI, responsible for leading daily store operations and fostering a creative, customer-focused environment. This role oversees staffing, scheduling, and performance management, ensuring team members provide outstanding service and product knowledge. The Store Manager drives sales goals and key performance metrics, manages inventory and visual merchandising, and maintains store standards that reflect the Paper Source brand.

Day-to-day responsibilities include coaching and developing team members, handling cash management and operational procedures, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The Store Manager also collaborates with leadership on local marketing initiatives and community engagement to grow brand presence and customer loyalty.

• Retail leadership and operations skills, including experience supervising teams, managing schedules, and overseeing daily store functions.
• Customer service and sales skills, including the ability to engage customers, drive sales performance, and build long-term customer relationships.
• Inventory, merchandising, and organizational skills, including managing stock levels, maintaining store presentation, and ensuring accurate product handling.
• Communication and collaboration skills, including clear verbal and written communication, constructive feedback, and effective teamwork across all levels.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, including using sales and operational data to make decisions and resolve issues efficiently.
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications; ability to learn new retail technologies as needed.
• Demonstrated interest in creativity, crafting, or design, with enthusiasm for the Paper Source brand and mission.
• Previous experience as a store manager, assistant manager, or similar retail leadership role; high school diploma or equivalent required, post-secondary education a plus.
