Logistics Clerk

Batteries Plus is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Logistics Clerk to join our warehouse team. In this role, you'll support daily shipping and transportation activities, prepare accurate documentation, and ensure smooth coordination between carriers, warehouse teams, and internal partners. What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily freight pickups, ensuring orders are collected by carrier cutoff times.
• Prepare and process bills of lading (BOLs), international shipping paperwork, and hazardous materials declarations.
• Communicate shipping schedules and updates to carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
• Print and distribute shipping labels, manifests, and related materials.
• Track shipments, resolve shipping exceptions, and support expedited orders.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as receiving, picking, packing, and shipping as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and adherence to all safety standards in the warehouse.
• Support onboarding and training of new associates in logistics tasks.

What Powers You

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, transportation, or logistics preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, internet navigation, Warehouse Management Systems).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documentation and alphanumeric codes.
• Forklift certification (or ability to become certified) preferred.
• Comfortable working in a physical warehouse environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
