Warehouse Specialist - International Shipper

Purpose of the Job

The International Shipping Clerk is responsible for coordinating and processing international shipments of aircraft parts while ensuring compliance with aviation and export regulations.

Warehouse Supervisor

• Prepare shipping documents (commercial invoices, air waybills, export declarations, etc).
• Scanning, digitizing, and attaching related documents to inventory control management system.
• Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and certification documents (FAA 8130-3, EASA Form 1, etc).
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, EAR, and other export regulations.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers. (Experience with UPS, Fed Ex, and DHL a plus)
• Package aircraft parts according to industry standards.
• Track shipments and maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
• Resolve shipping or customs issues as needed.
• Locating, picking, checking, staging, assembling, packaging, labeling, and preparing customer orders for shipment.
• Performing quality inspection prior to shipment.

• Basic computer knowledge.
• 1‑2 years of shipping experience (international preferred).
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
• Hazmat experience preferred.
• Must be highly organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.

• Pentagon (company software) Basics.
• Export & ITAR Compliance.
• Aerospace Industry Quality Training (Which includes QMS training, FAA 00 56, Traceability, 8130‑3 documents, PAH’s, ESD, Suspected unapproved Parts, Shelf Life/LLP’s, AD’s, ATA Spec 300, PMA).
• Forklift experience.
• S3 Hazmat training.
• Other Trainings as assigned.
• 90 Day Probation OJT.
