DescriptionResponsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day to day work routine for self and others. Performs a variety of project and operations planning and scheduling tasks. This position will be responsible for creation and revision of project schedules and reporting tools to maximize efficient utilization of company and contractor resources for successful completion of capital and maintenance projects.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Planner/Scheduler ($27.46 - $34.32 per hour)
- A working knowledge of project planning and scheduling at a level normally acquired through the completion of an associate degree in construction management and/or technical degree in a related field; and
- One-year related experience in project scheduling with a natural gas company, engineering, construction or related experience.
Planner/Scheduler Sr. ($30.70 - $38.38 per hour)
- A working knowledge of project planning and scheduling at a level normally acquired through the completion of an associate degree in construction management and/or technical degree in a related field; and
- Four years’ experience in project scope development with engineering and project management; project work breakdown structure development; project resource staffing, estimation and schedule loading; critical path reviews and schedule risk analysis and developing special project reports or equivalent experience.
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage, or unauthorized access.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsor ships considered.
- Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
- Required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
- Requires travel – minimal (10%). Overnight stays may be required.
- May be subject to substance abuse testing program.
- Pipeline industry experience.
- Training and/or experience with formal project management principles.
- Works closely with project managers, engineers and construction supervisors to create accurate project schedules.
- Updates and revises project schedules as changes occur.
- Creates special milestone schedules and project reports as assigned.
- Assists others with use of scheduling software tools.
- Supports presentation of project schedules and district resource schedules at bi-weekly Project Meeting.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
