  • SUPERVISION RECEIVED**:
    Receives direction from and reports to the Executive Director, while maintaining a high level of independence in carrying out daily responsibilities and tasks
  • SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
    ** The School Director supervises all Education staff
  • Summary of Position:
    ** The School Director is responsible to oversee the daily operations, enrollment and education of Little Sprouts and Harvest Christian Academy (LSA/HCA), including staff supervision and scheduling, human resources, event planning, facilities, budget management, state licensing oversight and communication with families. This position is responsible for cultivating a safe and nurturing environment where children can grow physically, emotionally, socially, intellectually, and spiritually.

    The School Director upholds and promotes the mission, vision, and values of the school as an integrated auxiliary ministry of Glendive Alliance Church (GAC).

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in education, leadership, or related fi eld (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2 years of experience in an early childhood or education setting
  • 2 years of experience in education administration and/or classroom teaching
  • Qualify as a Lead Teacher or Higher on the ECP Practitioner Registry
  • 2+ years basic bookkeeping experience
  • Have or are able to obtain current certifi cation for hands‑on infant, child and adult CPR and infant choking response, and standard first aid
  • Exceptional verbal, written, electronic communication skills with a variety of stakeholders
  • Exhibit an understanding of and sensitivity to children’s needs and development
  • Be a born‑again Christian who professes faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
  • Agree with and uphold the GAC statement of faith and Christian community standards
  • Demonstrate consistent, biblical love and care for children and their families
  • Meet state immunization, background checks and health attestation requirements
  • Positive, gracious, and service‑minded attitude at ll times
  • Excellent computer skills including Google Drive, Canva, Gmail, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Montana Elementary Education Licensure
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a licensed early care and education setting
