Position: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Licensed Clinical Social Worker - Make an Impact in Eastern Montana

Location:

On-site at GMC | 202 Prospect Dr, Glendive, MT 59330 | Behavioral Health

Employment Type:

Full-Time, Exempt, Salaried (bi-weekly pay)

Schedule:

Monday - Friday | 8:00AM - 5:00PM

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), you'll play a vital role in expanding access to high‑quality behavioral healthcare in a region where your work truly matters.

What You'll Do
  • Conduct mental health evaluations.
  • Make diagnoses and prescribe therapy.
  • Administer and interpret projective tests.
  • Conduct individual and group psychotherapy.
  • Participate in staff conferences and recommend appropriate treatment approaches.
  • Assist in developing and organizing a program of clinical treatment.
  • Directs case conferences. Serves as a consultant to other clinic staff.
  • Confer with patient's relatives regarding illness and treatment.
  • Assist through consultation in establishing psychiatric programs and policies.
  • Provide consultation as need to establish plan of care for patients.
  • Perform therapeutic services within the organization as requested.
  • Keep medical records and prepare psychiatric reports.
  • Testify in judicial proceedings on matters concerning petitions and affidavits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • Knowledge of general medicine, psychiatry, and current psychiatric practices
  • Ability to diagnose and treat severely and persistently mentally ill patients
  • Strong clinical judgment and decision‑making skills
  • Proficiency in preparing documentation and reports
  • Collaborative communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to maintain professionalism, objectivity, and confidentiality
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker required.
  • Current Montana driver's license may be required.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • May require periods of standing, bending or reaching.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
