Physical Therapist
One position is available for a Physical Therapist specializing in both inpatient and outpatient care. The shift schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts. The patient-to-therapist ratio is 1:6. First-time travelers are not accepted. The facility is open to accommodating block scheduling. If the clinician has a Compact License, it is accepted; otherwise, a state license will take approximately 8 weeks to obtain.
There are guaranteed hours of 40 hours weekly for this position. Eligible candidates should have experience with various patient diagnoses, as well as proficiency in the required charting system. This is an acute care setting with a focus on both rehabilitation and therapy services. The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure effective patient care. Additional patient care details include working with adults and geriatrics.
COVID-19 vaccinations are not required; however, the flu vaccine is required, with exemptions allowed for medical or religious reasons. Candidates may be involved in various therapeutic modalities and interventions. The facility expects clinicians to float within their scope to meet the facility's needs as required.
