Description
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day‑to‑day work routine for self and others. Responsible for leading teams of internal and external resources for the successful completion of assigned large strategic capital projects from planning to documentation and closeout. This includes primary oversight of estimating, budgeting, scheduling, permitting, bidding and contractor management. Ensures execution of all phases of the project within compliance of federal and state guidelines, applying basic project management principles with routine guidance from higher level.
Minimum QualificationsProject Manager I: ($84,460 - $105,570 per year)
- A working knowledge of project management practices and concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related technical field of study; and
- Two years' project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Project Manager II: ($97,110 - $121,390 per year)
- A working knowledge of project management practices and concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related technical field of study; and
- Four years' project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Project Manager Sr: ($117,780 - $147,230 per year)
- A working knowledge of project management practices and concepts at a level normally acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related technical field of study; and
- Six years' project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber‑attack, damage or unauthorized access.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsor ships considered.
- Subject to pre‑employment drug testing and background checks.
- Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
- Requires travel:
Moderate (up to 25%).
- PMI‑Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar Project Management Certification.
- Understanding of industrial project construction and natural gas transmission facilities.
- Prior project management experience.
- Manages all aspects of large and complex capital projects by planning, setting deadlines and monitoring the progress of projects to ensure project deadlines and budget guidelines are met through project completion set forth in contractual agreements.
- Acts as a liaison between the company and the various designers, schedulers, and contractors associated with completion of the project.
- Responsible for communication and development of project scope, goals, timelines; planning and setting deadlines with designers, schedules and contractors associated with completion of the project.
- Prepare detailed reports and updates management periodically to summarize progress.
- Directs and gives expert insight for potential and proposed new projects. Prepares cost estimates, schedules, forecasts and solicits input from affected parties and SMEs to make appropriate project recommendations and approves final design.
- Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
