Acute Care RN

This position is for an Acute Care RN working in ER and Med/Surg areas. The role includes providing care for a diverse patient population, including pediatrics, medical, orthopedic, podiatry, and general surgery patients. The typical patient ratio is 1:4. The facility has a nursing supervisor on each shift. The RN will float to care for transitional care patients when needed. A low level ICU is also present in the facility.

BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PALS is preferred. Candidates with diverse patient care experience are encouraged to apply. The hospital has a daily census of approximately 4, with 25 staffed beds available. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy. Rapid response teams are also an integral part of the care team.
