Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN- MED SURG EXP DSL Glendive

Position Overview

A certified nursing assistant responsible for delivering routine nursing care to residents, following established policies, procedures, and directives from nursing leadership to ensure high-quality resident care.

• Licensed as a certified nursing assistant.
• At least 6 months of CNA experience or clinical training during certification.
• Genuine desire to care for the ill, elderly, and infirm.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families, staff, and visitors.
• Team-oriented with patience, tact, cheerfulness, and enthusiasm.
• Good health and emotional stability.
• Ability to work effectively with residents facing various physical and emotional challenges.

• Perform assigned duties in accordance with facility policies, nursing procedures, and safety standards.
• Conduct resident rounds at shift start and every two hours to provide care.
• Verify resident identity before providing care or services.
• Report missing  promptly.
• Make beds, clean bedside and overbed tables.
• Ensure water pitchers are clean, filled, and accessible to residents.
• Perform additional duties as directed by nursing staff or management.
