We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse with specialities in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, Operating Room. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals facing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. Daily tasks include patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
Critical to this role is strong communication and collaboration with patients, providers, and other members of our team. At least 2 years of experience and exceptional skill is required.
- Provide skilled nursing care and case management to patients.
- Perform patient assessments and administer medications as prescribed.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Provide hospice care to patients with advancing age, frailty, or serious illness.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of two years experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work.
Certifications:
- Experience in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room specialties.
- Advanced certifications or training relevant to specialty areas.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and challenging healthcare environments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills essential for interdisciplinary teamwork.
- May require flexibility in work location and patient care settings.
- Position is for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours guaranteed per week.
- Shift patterns and schedules to be determined based on facility needs.
