The Cashier is responsible to interact with customers as they enter and leave the retail store. The primary function is to provide excellent customer service. Hours vary with days, evenings (until 9pm), and rotating weekend/holiday coverage required.

• Reports directly to the Store Manager.
• Has no direct supervisory authority.

• Greet customers as they enter the retail store, assisting with customer service questions.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
• Responsible for accurate cash handling.
• Price store merchandise as requested by store management.
• Stock merchandise on shelves as requested by store management.
• Responsible for handling customer returns.

• Other duties as assigned.

• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Frequent lifting up to 25 pounds.
• Long periods of standing.
• Frequent bending and twisting.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

• Retail store environment.
• Cold and warm conditions.
• Irregular work schedule.
