Glendive Public Schools is looking for reliable and safety-focused Bus Drivers to transport students to and from school and activities. If you enjoy working with students and take pride in safe driving, this is a great opportunity to make a difference in our school community.
What You'll Do- Safely drive a school bus on assigned routes and schedules
- Pick up and drop off students in a safe, orderly manner
- Transport students and staff to field trips and activities
- Maintain a clean bus and perform daily safety checks
- Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe environment
- Complete daily reports (mileage, routes, student counts)
- Provide basic first aid or emergency assistance if needed
- Follow all district policies and state transportation regulations
- Valid Montana CDL with required endorsements
- Ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol screening, and medical requirements
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Dependable, patient, and able to manage student behavior
- Strong awareness of safety and attention to detail
- Meaningful work supporting students every day
- Consistent schedule with opportunities for extra trips
