They’re searching for a Fund Development Associate who will help turn generosity into meaningful impact across ECS’s senior living network, including Monte Cedro, The Canterbury, The Covington, and Twelve Oaks. In this role, you’ll support fundraising initiatives that benefit residents, families, team members, and the broader communities they serve, strengthening programs and services that help seniors thrive.

What You’ll Do- Process gifts, pledges, and recurring donations in Neon CRM with accuracy, ensuring clean donor records and timely reporting.
- Coordinate monthly donor activity with Finance and generate prompt acknowledgement letters and tax receipts.
- Partner with Executive Directors and Support Services to align timelines, materials, and deliverables for fundraising initiatives across multiple communities.
- Help create newsletters, appeals, and donor‑facing materials that reflect ECS’s mission and values.
- Prepare donor profiles and light prospect research to support leadership and major gift efforts.
- Coordinate meaningful donor touchpoints such as birthday cards, impact notes, and updates.
- Support stewardship for priority ECS programs, including Resident Assurance, By Your Side, Employee Education Fund, Music & Memory®, Next Gen Education Fund, and the SAFE Fund.
- Assist with community events and campaigns, handling RSVPs, volunteer coordination, logistics, materials, and post‑event follow‑up.
- Produce weekly and monthly dashboards and campaign reports to inform strategies and celebrate progress.
- Work with Finance on gift coding, restrictions, acknowledgements, and compliance to protect donor intent and ensure alignment with ECS policies.
- (Bonus) Conduct light grant scanning and research to identify small funding opportunities aligned with ECS programs.
- 1–3 years of experience in nonprofit development, advancement, or administrative support (senior living or healthcare experience a plus).
- Proficiency with Neon or similar donor databases, strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel and Mail Merge), and comfort working with lists, segments, exports, and basic analytics.
- Clear, warm, and adaptable written communication suited for residents, families, leadership, and community partners.
- High emotional intelligence, patience for a senior‑living environment, strong attention to detail, project coordination skills, discretion with confidential information, and a donor‑centered mindset.
