Youth Health Associates (YHA) is a licensed residential treatment center serving adolescent males ages 12-18 who have experienced mental and behavioral challenges. Roles:

Specializing in the treatment and stabilization of youth with mental and behavioral health symptoms and those with Aggression Disorders. The RN provides medical oversight and ensures safe, effective administration of psychotropic and other prescribed medications to the youth and young adults in accordance with established treatment models and regulatory requirements. The RN collaborates closely with the interdisciplinary treatment team, parents/guardians, and external healthcare providers to promote optimal physical and mental health outcomes for residents.

Qualifications
  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas (or applicable state of operation) in good standing.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred;
    Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ nursing experience, preferably in mental/behavioral health, adolescent health, or residential treatment settings.
  • Experience with psychotropic medication administration and monitoring strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and behavioral crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond quickly in crisis situations.
