Costumes/ Hair/ Makeup
Costumes/ Hair/ Makeup (Title IV/ equivalent to 3 points/$1200)
Train and manages the costume, hair, and makeup crew (high school crew)
Costume
- Collects measurements of actors
- Research appropriate time period/ environment ideas for costumes and presents to directors for approval.
- Locates costume pieces from inventory and/ or purchases.
- Presents costume orders to production manager for approval.
- Labeling and sorting costumes, shoes, and accessories for the cast into individuals' baskets
- Handles costume changes and repairs as needed during the rehearsals and performances.
- Appropriately cleaning costumes at the completion of the show
- Inventory costumes at the completion of every show.
- Items must have a documented location.
Hair & Makeup
- Research appropriate time period and creates character looks presents to directors for approval.
- Labeling and sorting makeup/ wigs for the cast into individuals' baskets
- Assists with makeup application & hair styling during dress rehearsals and performances.
