Mathematics Instructional Program Leader
Administration/Supervision Certificate required
Minimum of five years of effective teaching experience and documented success in the area of mathematics
Minimum of 3 years Instructional Leadership/Professional Development experience required
Bachelor's/ Master's Degree Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Educational Leadership
Position is responsible for leading the District's PreK-12 mathematics instructional program which includes, but is not limited to, planning, developing, implementing, and monitoring curriculum, assessments, professional development and budget.
Leads and supervises a district-wide mathematics instructional program.
Coordinates curriculum and assessment development, implementation and revision.
Analyzes, presents, and responds to performance data to determine curriculum and professional development needs.
Monitor implementation and effectiveness of mathematics interventions.
Visits schools and observes classrooms on a regular basis to ensure fidelity and consistency of programming and instructional practices.
Supervises mathematics instructional coaches, interventionists, and math paraprofessionals
Serves as the content specialist, resource and advisor to teachers and administrators.
Assists teachers in the improvement of instructional delivery and performance through active coaching, feedback, and job-embedded professional development.
Evaluates the effectiveness of instructional methods and mathematics-related programs and recommends revisions as needed.
Coordinates district-wide mathematics community activities.
Collaborate with Curriculum and Instruction team to engage in grant writing
Supports New Teacher Induction and leads professional development workshops
Partners with the Director of Technology to monitor emerging AI trends, evaluate instructional and operational applications, develop district AI guidance, and support the implementation of responsible AI practices and policies.
Oversees the implementation of a comprehensive K–12 personal finance curriculum, ensuring alignment with Pennsylvania Academic Standards, district goals, and graduation requirements
