CX Specialist- Special Handling

We are hiring a CX Specialist – Special Handling to support our team in Tulsa, OK. This role focuses on managing special‑handled customer accounts and resolving complex billing issues related to pricing, cylinder balances, and other discrepancies.

• Act as primary point of contact for customers requiring specialized billing support.
• Build strong customer relationships and support satisfaction by clarifying billing expectations.
• Collaborate with branches, account managers, technical support, CX and leadership teams to develop tailored solutions for special‑handling requests.
• Identify and align on complex billing concerns; coordinate with internal departments to fulfill accurate billing.
• Proactively identify and address potential problems or delays, escalating as necessary.
• Document all customer interactions and resolutions accurately.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to special handling processes and customer experience.
• Stay informed about billing expectations and company policies for the assigned portfolio.
• Submit documentation or requests for crediting/rebilling invoices due to pricing, cylinder, purchase order or other identified issues.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2+ years of billing/accounts receivable experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment with a customer service focus.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities and analyze unexpected variances.
• Strong organizational, analytical and root‑cause analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or similar spreadsheet programs.

Preferred:

• Associate’s degree in accounting or business.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
