Program Operations Support Specialist MID
This position requires an active Public Trust clearance to be considered.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Program Operations Support Specialist - MID to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to a dynamic program management team. This role is responsible for facilitating smooth program execution through effective coordination, tracking, and reporting of key operational activities. The ideal candidate will bring mid-level experience in program support within a federal, defense, or government contracting environment.
Compensation& Benefits:
- Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Operations Support Specialist MID
: $75,000 - $80,000 - Pay commensurate with experience.
- Full-time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as provided.
- Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.
Responsibilities Include:
- Assist program leadership with operational planning, execution, and reporting activities.
- Maintain and update program documentation, schedules, and deliverables.
- Track action items, risks, and milestones using program management tools and templates.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, briefings, and stakeholder engagements.
- Support data collection, analysis, and preparation of routine reports and presentations.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and contractual obligations.
- Interface with cross-functional teams including finance, logistics, HR, and procurement.
- Respond to taskers and data calls in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide administrative support such as correspondence drafting, file management, and travel coordination.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Must have worked as an Action Officer (AO) at the Defense Health Agency (DHA) or one of the military medical headquarters.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with project tracking tools.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience supporting government or defense programs preferred.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a U.S. Public Trust clearance.
