Public Health Advisor

Cherokee Nation Integrated Health (CNIH) is seeking a Public Health Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and operational support to the CDC program managing scientific regulatory activities regarding medical countermeasures (MCM). The position requires working knowledge of FDA‑regulations on drugs, vaccines, biologics, and medical devices within the context of public health preparedness and emergency response.

Responsibilities include performing literature searches, reviews, and analysis, assisting in the development and revisions of scientific and regulatory documents and protocols, and supporting emergency response functions related to medical products for various threat agents. This role contributes to regulatory strategy and documentation under the direction of senior regulatory experts.

Pay commensurate with experience.

• Searches, synthesizes, and interprets relevant information to support safe and effective use of medical countermeasures under appropriate regulatory mechanisms.
• Conduct literature reviews and scientific evidence synthesis to support the development of required scientific regulatory documents.
• Perform data cleaning, statistical analysis, and interpretation to support regulatory decision‑making.
• Assist in drafting regulatory documents, technical summaries, and scientific reports.
• Support the development of standard operating procedures and regulatory documentation workflows.
• Provide technical assistance and regulatory guidance on MCMs during public health emergency responses.
• Assist in tracking submission timelines, document revisions, and regulatory correspondence.
• Support integration of clinical, epidemiologic, and operational data into regulatory documentation.

• Master of Public Health (MPH) or related graduate‑level degree preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in public health, epidemiology, health sciences, or related discipline required.
• Experience supporting public health, epidemiology, or regulatory activities.
• Strong quantitative and data analysis skills.
• Experience in emergency response or outbreak support preferred.
• Must pass the pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
