Location: Tulsa, OK – On-site (Manufacturing Plant)

Reports To: HR Manager / Plant Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Position Overview

The
HR Coordinator to serves the go-to resource for our plant employees, managing everything from hiring and onboarding to safety coordination, benefits administration, and general administrative duties. Because our plant moves fast, you will thrive here if you love being on the floor, connecting with people, and keeping our employee data meticulously organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for hourly production and skilled trade roles (sourcing, screening, and interviewing).
  • Manage our pre-employment background check and drug screening processes.
  • Coordinate and facilitate engaging orientation and onboarding programs to ensure new hires feel welcomed and are set up for success on day one.

2. Safety Coordination & Compliance

  • Partner with the plant safety team to maintain a strong culture of safety and compliance.
  • Assist with tracking safety training completions and maintaining OSHA logs.

3. Benefits Administration & Employee Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding payroll, company policies, and benefits.
  • Act as leader and facilitator of Employee Engagement Committee
  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment (health, 401k, etc.), life events, and annual open enrollment.
  • Help manage leave of absence programs, including FMLA and short-term disability.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date digital and physical employee personnel files ensuring strict confidentiality.
  • Track shift attendance, paid time off (PTO), and timecard approvals for payroll processing.
  • Generate routine HR metrics reports (turnover, headcount, attendance trends).

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 1–3 years of HR experience, ideally within a manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environment.
  • Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
  • Software: Proficiency with HRIS platforms is required.
    Direct experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred.
  • Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively with both floor operators and plant leadership.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic factory environment and handle shifting priorities with a positive attitude.

Working Conditions: This position operates primarily in a professional office environment but requires daily presence and visibility on the production floor, which may involve exposure to industrial noise and varying temperatures.
