Quality Assurance Analyst I

Detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst needed to test and validate modern web applications in an Agile environment. You will verify functionality, find and document defects, and support release readiness across complex workflows and user scenarios. Ideal candidates are organized, methodical, and strong communicators who collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality releases.
Compensation & BenefitsEstimated Starting Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000.
Pay commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities- Develop and execute manual test plans, test cases, and regression testing
- Validate application functionality against requirements and expected workflows
- Identify, document, track, and retest software defects
- Assist team ensuring that software complies with software regulations such as DISA STIG and DoD requirements
- Collaborate with developers and product management to clarify requirements and expected behavior
- Participate in agile software planning, backlog review, and release validation activities
- Perform user workflow and usability validation across web applications
- Help ensure consistent software quality across releases and environments
- Assist with acceptance testing and stakeholder feedback collection
- Maintain clear testing documentation and release notes
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and standards
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned
- Experience with healthcare, government, or regulated environments
- Familiarity with Angular, Node.js, or API‑based applications
- Experience with regression testing and release validation
- Exposure to automated testing tools or scripting, including AI‑enhanced tooling to improve breadth and quality of testing
- Understanding of user acceptance testing (UAT) processes
- Experience testing modern web applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to clearly document defects and reproduce issues
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across teams
- Experience with issue tracking systems such as Jira, Azure Dev Ops, or similar
- Must pass pre‑employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
