Plate Saw Operator
Industrial 2nd Shift Plate Saw Operator — Glenpool, OK. Pay: $20.00/hour. Shift: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, with overtime and weekend work as needed.
Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Plate Saw Operator for our second-shift team in Glenpool, OK. This position is responsible for processing aerospace materials, so we are looking for candidates who take pride in producing accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate plate saw machinery and related equipment
- Measure, mark, and cut materials to precise specifications
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, cut sheets, and work instructions
- Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (OHCs)
- Maintain an organized and safe work environment
- Follow production schedules and company safety procedures
- Work efficiently to meet production goals and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficient with computers and measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and cut sheets
- Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a team-first mindset
- Comfortable performing manual labor and standing for 8+ hours per shift
- Previous manufacturing or saw operator experience preferred
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
