Controller Position
Robert Half is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in the Glens Falls area seeking a hands-on Controller to lead all accounting and financial operations. This on-site role will oversee day-to-day accounting while providing strategic financial insight to support plant and company leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage full-cycle accounting, including month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger oversight
- Lead cost accounting and inventory management, including standard costing, variance analysis, and margin reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts
- Partner with operations leadership to drive cost control, efficiency improvements, and financial performance
- Oversee A/P, A/R, and day to day accounting functions; supervise and develop accounting staff
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; coordinate audits and tax filings
Salary Range: $120,000 - $135,000 + additional bonus potential
